Firkspedvale Manor of the Pedvale Manor Complex
Location
Firkspedvale Manor of the Pedvale Manor Complex is situated nearby Sabile in the Kurzeme region, 110 km to the west from the capital of Latvia Riga. The location of complex is in site of Latvian cultural heritage - the valley of the river Abava. In 1992, on the territory of the manor complex the shaping of Pedvale open-air art museum were initiated. The total area of the manor complex are 130 hectares. At the manor are organized symposiums, conferences and seminars on education, nature protection and cultural heritage. Pedvale has become a significant centre of culture attended by visitors from Latvia and other countries. In high season the complex receives around 200 visitors per day.

Present wastewater treatment
At the moment wastewater from Firkspedvale manor complex is collected by two sewerage pipes and it flows by gravity to two tanks which are regularly pumped out Afterwards the sewage is transported to the nearest treatment plant.
The first sewer is serving the manor house toilets and in the future it will be used for deflating of the wastewater coming from bathrooms and the sauna. The second sewer is collecting the wastewater produced in the restaurant's kitchen and toilet. The connected tanks have a capacity of 12,5m3 and its present condition are sufficient.
