„PLESCHWIRT“

PROBLEMS TO SOLVE

The “Pleschwirt” is a tourist inn situated on the mountain Pleschkogel, about 30 km northwest of Graz, the capital of Styria. It is frequented by hiking tourists mainly on weekends. Besides the owners are running a riding stable. Once or twice a year a horse market with about 3000 visitors takes place.

A septic tank was the only wastewater treatment untill now.
The owners are using an own spring for theire water supply.

Sea level:
1020 m
Season:
winter, spring, summer weekends
Capacity:
100 chairs inside, 100 chairs outside
Wastewater production:
2-3 cbm/day

The hotel uses an own spring for its water supply. There are no volume-related costs through water consumption until now. Nevertheless, water metering could bring more awareness about water consumption and wastewater production. These issues are presently discussed with the owner.
